Who is Nerds Need?

Nerds Need is actually one person, me. My name is Dylan and I am local computer technician in Essex County Ontario servicing my community for over a decade as an honest reliable source of tech information and services for computers, networking and internet.

In my line of work I have to deal with cables and chargers every day for repairing devices. I was so sick of the struggle of finding products that worked reliable that weren't overly expensive. We always have one rule for products we sell to our customers; if we wouldn't use it ourselves, we wont sell it.

So I began the journey of a side business researching different qualities and tolerances for cables and chargers. I was able to find manufacturers that could build to my higher specifications to compete with the big brands. These products typically have huge markups to pad the pockets of the CEO's, however I am just looking to make an honest buck with a fairly priced and quality product.
